Mark learned early on that life is fragile and tomorrow is not guaranteed, so make a difference today. That’s probably why he’s always moving, learning, creating, reinventing, and ultimately wanting to help others. A classically trained professional actor, Mark was determined to focus on shows and roles that provide vital messages. This desire ultimately led him to shift gears and focus on his work as a private tutor and mentor to hundreds of young people. A Master’s in Education degree through the Institute for Humane Education helped him see the interconnectedness of all things and further steer him toward a life of service.
On morning drives to school, Mark and his son Jonah would discuss daily acts of kindness for Jonah to do. From this seed, Mark and Jonah developed kindcore and, respectively, preside over the adult and youth boards. They are excited to share kindcore with others to build a better tomorrow through small acts of kindness today.
